In some canes we were successful tn arreating the fersone responsible and one suspect, arrested by our Burnaby Detachment, admitted belng responsible for approximately 244 such burglarfes In the Coquitlam sres alones Other persons arrested during the month admitted to being responsible for a lesser number but since three of these persons were supporting a heavy drug habit we believe they were renponsible for many more than they cared to admit to. In addition to the resurgence of. burglaries, an araon was committed at Gentral School, which resulted tn damape In excess of $4,000.00, however two girls were apprehended for this offence and are presently before the Courte. The drug aftuation in the Caquitlan area certainly merita considerable attention. To this end, during the month the G.I. Section complemented by cembers of Vancouver Sub/Diviston Drug Squad, carried ovt numeroua searches, with the result the. over the month period thirteen persons have been charged with nuverocue offences under the Narcotic Control Act.
