vately-run RV. park lam not

only tired of losing business

to the Wal-Mart’s parking
lot but also to the parking
lots of Canadian Tire and the

- Real’ Canadian Warehouse

Club.
“The latter two businesses
have not posted the bylaw

* signs prohibiting parking of
overnight RVs and they. do

nothing to discourage this
practice.

As an RY. Park owner it
has always. been and will
continue to be my goal to
encourage tourists to stay in
Terrace longer to enjoy our

- This summer it has been,
our pleasure to travel thru
beautiful British Columbia, '
spending much of our time

in Terrace.

We are ‘retired | Améri-
cans, travelling in a big rig
and have been. graciously
received everywhere — espe-
cially in Terrace.

We have enjoyed the golf- -
- ing and fishing in the area, as

well as the restaurants, shop-
ping, and sightseeing. :

countered have been very,

I think Rick MeDaniel’s “Tree trimming hooray”
letter to the editor in the. Aug. 17 issue of The Terrace
Standard has some very good valid points regarding
George Little Park.

The city does need to realize although cultivating.
the bushes, as lovely as that is, and it truly is, that the.
underlying problems that come hand in hand with these ;

bushes’ hidden spots should far outweigh the intent.
This is a great location for all city events. Thank

The huge mass of trees - offered seclusion to:the .

winos and would-be lurkers, making this a very dan-

gerous park for children. I feel more confident now -
