Valerie was born in Winnipeg to Stuart & Norah Craig, January 23, 1933. In 1943 the Family moved to Prince Rupert & in 1946 to Terrace where they farmed at 2315 Doll Rd on Braun's Island. Val graduated from Terrace High School in 1950, and soon after moved to ae Winnipeg to further her-educatlon. In 1956 Val & M Don.were maytied in Winnipeg & returned to B.C. the following year, where they settled in North Vancouver, Later they moved to Bowen Island where they purchased an automotive repair shop, and immersed themselves in church & community activities. A memorial service was f held on Bowen Island, May 30th. Donations in #3. her memory to Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, R= Chemotherapy Department will be welcomed. The family moved to Terrace to enable Margaret to urgue her career as a laboratory technician, she was netrumental in setting up the lab in the new hospital, Mille Memorial. In 1968 Margaret returried to Kamloops to become the surgical booking clerk and to work many years at the Royal Inland Hospital, finally returning to Terrace in 1990. Margaret always took an active rale in her community, holding membership and executive positions In the Royal Canadian Legion, and her church, she was a founding member of the Hills af Peace Luthern Church In Kamloops. She was a member of the Terrace enior Advisory, and within weeks of entering Terraceview became Chairperson of. the Residents Council. Margaret was an active member of the Anglican Communion Service at Terraceview enjoying doing some of the readings, The family would like to express thelr deepest gratitude to the staff of Terraceview Lodge, Dr. Redpath, and .
