REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Ministry for Children and Families is inviting
proposals for the delivery of a co-ed six (6) bed
youth residential based detox/stabilization/ support
program in Terrace. The proposed ‘services are to
be localed in Terrace and provided to youths on a
local, regional and provincial basis.

Proposals will describe the service delivery model
for the program, the suitability and. experience of
Ihe proponent, and program evaluation methods.

Proposals will indicate the facility model (self con-
tained residential facility or family care home(s).
Proponents will provide the. prices and pricing
structures for both: _

* owning and operating the facility program, and

* providing the program within a government

owned facility.

(Interfor) wishes to amend the approved 1999 to 2003 Fores!
Development Pian for Forest License A16841. The Amendment will
add the blocks listed below and associated road development in the

Surt inlet Administrative Area to the approved 1999 - 2003 Forest
Development Pian.

Forest Development Pian Amendment| 99-01 shows the location and
orderly development of proposed harvesting, road development,
maintenance, and deactivation. The approved 1999 — 2003 Forest
Development Plan contains information on the maintenance and pro-
tection of other resource values within the planning areas. This
Amendment is a supplement to the approved Forest Development
Plan. The Amendment is made available for review and comment to
fesource agencies, native bands, and the public before approval is
considered by the District Manager of tha Ministry of Forests, North
Coast Forest Dislict. All approved Operational Plans that encompass
the Development Plan wilt be made available during the review and
comment period upon request. All completed assessments (Sections
13 to 17 of the OPA) are available for review at the Interfor office at
the address below during the review and comment period.

Forest Development Plan Amendment 99-01 will be available for oub-
lic review and comment at both the interfor office listed below and at
the Ministry of Forests, North Coast Forest District office at 125
Market Place, Prince Rupert, 8.C. fram Wednesday, December 15,
1999 to Tuesday, February 15, 2000, during normal business hours
(8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday), excluding statutory holi-
days. A representative of Intemational Forest Products Limited will be
available upon request to review and discuss the proposed
Amendment at the Interfor office listed below. The Forest
Development Plan Amendment 99-014 will also be availabte for the
public review at the Kitimat Public Library at 940 Wakashan Avenua,
Kilimat, B.C., the Terrace Public Library al 4610 Park Avenue,
Terrace, B.C., and at the Prince Rupert Public Library al 101 6th
