The prime purpose of the club is of course the promotion of skiing in the Terrace area and the Pacific northwest. The club also will serve as a liaison between area management and to assist that body in , any way possible. The club also be available to all skiers of the region. An important function of the ski club is to develop and support racing programs, especially insofar as the younger skier is concerned. In this regard the club has and will working on a Junior Race Program for young people aged 14 and over, _ For the ounger generation the club_ has initiated a Nancy Green Program which is aimed at skiers from the tender age of one anda half years old to 13 when the skier should be moving into junior ranks. The Kinsmen will again be sponsoring ski competitions as part of their. Heritage Day activities on February 20. Kinsman Gordon Lee is in charge of ‘these arrangements. Looking into the future, the club foresees organizing ski tours, ski swaps like the one held at the Oddfellows Hall last November 13 and the presentation of ski films such as the screening held at the Oddfellows Halli on November 12.
