"RECOMMENDATION:

1. That this application be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS~1, (Large
Lot Residential) to R&-2 (Small ‘Lot Residential) under Section 963 of the

Municipal Act subject tot

a) Completion of a subdivision design to the satisfaction of the
Municipality;

b) Completion of the Engineering Department requirements to the
gatisfaction of the Municipality;

c) Registration of a restrictive covenant on the properties to
prevent new buildings from being converted to contain secondary

suites .

BACKGROUND:

This application is to rezone the property at 2115 & 2119 Prairie
Avenue from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS~2 (Small Lot Reaidential) to
permit a four lot subdivision. The area is designated a6 "Residential" in the

Official Community Plan.

COMMENTS FROM OTIER DEPARTMENTS

Engineering Department

1. Revised sketch of subdivision dated August 30, 1994 addresses the concerns
of the Engineering Department and is now acceptable.
