RECOMMENDATION:

Allocate $400 plus GST from the Operations Budget for recycling to purchase fou i
advertisement insertions promoting City recycling in Earthwise Magazine. poe EN

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:
Earthwise Magazine is selling advertising for its four issues of the magazine to be published i a

1994. They are offering advertising space for $150 for one, $250 for two or four insertions fc § '
$100 each. all plus GST.

The City has previously bought advertising at $150 each. This type of advertising will remin : ”
people of the importance of the 3 R's. The Committee reviewed the request and recommende [Re
the purchase of four for the year with an ad being inserted in each of the 1994 editions of th [im
magazine.
