THE CORPORATION OF THR CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2631

A Bylaw to authorize the expenditure of monies
in the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund.

WHEREAS there is an uneppropriated balance of $8,743,809.74 as at December
3ist, 1990 in the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fuad consisting of monies received
from the sale of tax sale properties including interest earned thereon and set
aside in accordance with the provisions of Section 380 of the "Mimiclpal Act”;

AND WHEREAS no sinking funde have been or were required to be established;

AND WHEREAS the following bylaws have been paased to authorize the expenditure
of funds in the following amounta from the said amount in the Tax Sale Lands
Reserve Fund?

Bylaw No. 2514 ~ Recycling Equipment $400 ,000.00
Bylaw No. 2539 - Coquitlam River Drainage $175,000.00

AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend from the amount so set aside the
gum of $189,000.00 as the City’s share of the construction costs of 398 lineal
metres of roadway including storm sewers, curbs, boulevard, and pavement on a
road proceeding east from the south foot of Coast Meridian Road across
Remainder of Lot 1, Sketch 6040, as detailed on City of Port Coquitlam Drawing
No. $20/91 dated 91-09-26;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. (a) ‘The Municipal Council is hereby empowered and authorized to expend
the sum of $189,000.00 from the amount so set aside as the City's
share of the construction. costs of 398 lineal metres of roadway
including storm sewers, curbs, boulevard, and pavement on a road
proceeding eaat from a point just north of the south foot of Coast
Meridian Road across Remainder of Lot 1, Sketch 6040, as detailed on
