THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUIT

BYLAW NO. 2557

A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to
dispose of portions of dedicated road in exchange for a portion of land to
be dedicated as road.

WHEREAS the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling portions of road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in
the Province of British Columbia;

WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw

has agreed to convey land to the City in exchange so that it may be
established as an addition to the roads in the City.

AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act” being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of
British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any
portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the
purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the
highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, is hereby authorized to
convey to the Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section
hereof those portions of dedicated lane shown hatched

a 352.1 m@ Portion of Road in 380 Dedicated By Plan 2208
a 100.9 m@ Portion of Road in 380 Dedicated By Plan 18418
a 59.24 m@ Portion of Lane in 380 Dedicated by Plan 46170

on a plan certified by D.A. Le Patourel, British Columbia Land Surveyor,
dated the 21st day of Avgust, 1990, at or for the price or sum of
$21,556.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land
described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to
purchase of and from the Registered Owner thereof that portion of land
shown included within the heavy outiine as

a 95.48 m2 Portion of Lot 2, Plan 11427, D.L. 380
a 55.40 m* Portion of Lot C, Plan 18418, D.L. 380
a 40.97 m2 Portion of Lot D, Plan 18418, D.L. 380

on a plan certified by D.A. Le Patourel, British Columbia Land Surveyor,
dated the 21st day of August, 1990, at or for the price or sum of $1.00
and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in
the preceding Section hereof.

A copy of the plan referred to in Section 1 and Section 2 hereof is
attached to this bylaw and made a part hereof.
