LIVE, Vancouver's biennial celebration of performance art, places this quixotic art form at centre stage from now until Nov. 30 in a variety of events. Foote heads to Nashville North Shore children's entertainer Norman Foote has won the seal of approval from two American parenting organizations. His recent CD, Step To It, received a gold award from the National Association of Parenting Publications of America and a Parents' Choice Award from the Parents' Choice Foundation. In addition, SOCAN, Canada's copyright association, has named Foote this year's winner in the category of best children's music.
