A Special Meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam
was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port
Coquitlam, BC on Monday, November 7, 1994, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Ccuncillors M.D. Gates (arrived at 7:40 p.m.), M.J. Gordon,
J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, W.W. Stewart and M.A. Thompson were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator T.M. Chong, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Engineer LR
Zahynacz and Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J.G.S. Maitland.

From the Treasurer/Deputy Administrator, November 4, 1994 regarding 1995 Utility Rates and
Budgets.

Moved by Councillor Thompson:
Seconded by Councillor Keryluls:

CONnGEe

That the proposed utility rates for 1995 be approved as handwritten on the attached rate schedule
attached to the Council Agenda. .

And that the 1995 utility budgets be approved.
Carried.

From the City Engineer, October 31, 1994 regarding the Award of Contract - Construction of
Left Turn Lane on Lougheed Highway at Coast Meridian Road.

- Moved by Councillor Keryluk:
Seconded by Councillor Gordon:

That Council award the contract for the construction of a left tum land extension on Lougheed
Highway and Coast Meridian Road to Jack Cewe Ltd. at the tendered price of $92,538.95

(including G.S.T.)

and that Council allocate an additional $91,124.00 from the Roads DCC Fund plus $1,415.00.
from the 1994 Public Works Capital Fund for this purpose. : a
