Reasons to Opposes

. During the Public Information Meeting the following reasons were given in
opposition to the proposed development:

1. There is a school proposed across the street. Children will
congregate around the proposed convenience store.

Increased Traffic.

Current lack of R.C.M.P patrolling.

Residents were told that this site was to be developed with a corner
store only, not a shopping centre.

The Developer (Genstar), City Planning and City Council have not.
acted responsibly in the past.

This location is not adequate; some other location a little farther
away would be better.
