Zoning: RS~1l Request: To rezone from RS-1 to RM-2 Comments: The area has recently had a number of new single family houses constructed. This general area was reviewed at the time the Eastgate Study.was carried oft and was recommended to remain as a single family use. There are no immediate or long range plars for multiple use in this area under our apartment phasing policies. Recormendation: The Planning and Zoning Committee recommends to the Municipal Council rejection of rezoning application R#22-72, “ Ytem IT FOR INFORMATION ONLY Re: Memorandum from City Clerk ~ Truck Parking. ‘“A reminder that at the regular Council Meeting held on July 17th, 1972 the Planning and Zoning Committee were requested to investigate the truck parking situation within the City and che possibility of providing a special lot therefor: . You will recall this arose upon discussion cf the Inspection Departnent monthly report wherein several persons had been charged for parking an over-weight vehicle on thoijr residential property." Comments: ‘lhe Planning and Zoning Comaittee was told that Imperial O41 are in the process of establishing a truck cepot.
