Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony

Mark your calendars and get ready for
the premier fundraising event of the season,
From Oven and Kiln Silent Auction and
Awards Ceremony. This year it will be held
on April 19 at a very special location, the
Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.

Join us for a memorable evening of dinner
followed by a silent auction of works by
some of British Columbia’s most celebrated
ceramic artists. An online catalogue will
be available as of April 1. The evening will
also include the presentation of the NWCF
Award, the recipient artist talk, as well as
the parade and exchange of unique dessert
plates made by local potters for each guest
to take home.

‘The proceeds of this bi-annual fundraiser
support the NWCF Speaker Series, the
Canadian Clay Symposium, the Maureen
Wright Scholarship Fund and the
prestigious annual NWCF Award for
excellence in the ceramics arts.

One Year Later

On March 11, 2011,
earthquake and tsunami hit Eastern Japan.
