Sandy Bullock, of the Mills Memorial Hospital Auxilliary, says $1,730 was raised at the event — far exceeding expecta- tions, The money will help buy a new defibrillator for the hospital, Bullock says ail 200 tickets for the fashion show sold out and she says the thrift store at the hospital has cven scen more business since the show, “We feel really good about it,”’ she said. ‘‘We think the aware- ness is going to increase sales in our shop.’”” Sales last Tuesday were $99 —- up from the more typical $30.
