Brown Director Planning Director SUBJECT: 1854 - 1876 Langan Avenue RECOMMENDATION: That City Council adopt the resolution attached to this report. to {ssue a development permit for tots 4 and 5 of DL 255 of NWLD Plan 2099 oe COMMENTS: “This application is being submitted to relax the RS-2 sideyard -requirements, 1.8 metre per side, to permit construction of.two typical single family houses according to the RS-1? set back ‘regulations. The reason for the development permit being requested is the lots are existing serviced lots and the owners wish to proceed to build two houses for their families. The lots are narrower than the RS~1A 12 metre minimum, they are 10.66 metres wide so the extra sideyard requirement of the RS-2 designation wil! cause them some hardship. This request for a development permit is supported, as’ it will not establish a precedent in ‘the neighbourhood, in that other newer houses in the neighbourhood have been constructed to the RS-1 standard.. as FILE: P-0004-0005
