RE: INSURANCE APPRAISAL

.In the past we have had triversal Appraisal come around every four
years to do an appraisal of all city owned structures and contents. We
have on hand a Proposal from Universal to do our appraisal now for $5,400.
Unfortunately every time this comes up we scramble to Find the money to do
this as it is not budgeted for.

I would like to:

1. Have Universal. come in this year to appraise City
Hall and contents including the Recreation Office.
Next year have them do the City Yards, Public Works
and various pump stations, etc. and the following
year the Parks and Recreatioa Facilities.

2. “In conjunction with their appraisal we would commence
with an asset identification marking program.

If Council approves T would like to hire Universal Apprisal to do the
above mentioned appraisal at a cost of approximately $2,500. The money to
be ‘found within the General Government Section of the budget.
