From the Leisure Activities Committee, March 4th, 1977, advising of
a letter received from the Mary Hill Community & Ratepayers Association,
March Ist, 1977, proposing that a multi-purpose blacktop surface be
added to the South side of the tennis court being constructed on the 2.3

acre park at Western and Eastern Drives for use by children and adults

playing at street hockey, volleyball, etc., and stating that the Committee

has discussed the possibility of having such areas constructed throughout

the City. Alderman Ranger advised that the estimated cost involved at the

Mary Hill site would be approximately $2,500.00.

That as recommended in a report from the Leisure Activities Committee,

March 4th, 1977, a multi-purpose blacktop surface be added to the South
side of the tennis court being constructed on the 2 3 acre park at

Western and Eastern Drives. Carried.

From the City Clerk, March lst, 1977, advising that the District of

Coquitlam requires ratification of Council with respect to its Eagle
Ridge Hospital Board appointment for 1977.

That the appointment by the District of Coquitlam of Mr. Gordon
Wrightman, 1757 Thomas Avenue, Coquitlam, B.C., to the Board of Management
of the Eagle Ridge Hospital Society for the year 1977, be ratified and

confirmed. Carried.

From M. McDaniel for the Easter Dance & Anniversary Reception,
being an application to hold a lottery for selling 250 to 300 tickets at
50¢ each from March to April 10th, 1977, for a prize valued at $80.00 to
$90.00 to be awarded following a draw at the Elks Hall, Port Coquitlam,
B. C., on April 16th, 1977.
