From the Director of Parks & Recreation, August 18th, 1993 regarding Link Camp - Boy Scouts of Canada. Moved by Councillor Keryluk: Seconded by Councillor Talbot: That the report from the Director of Parks & Recreatioa, August 18th, 1993 regarding Council endorsing the concept of the Boy Scouts of Canada (PoCo District) hosting a “Link Camp" in Lions Park in May, 1994 be referred to the Parks & Recreation Committee for further discussion on closure of the park. Carried. From the City Clerk, August 19th, 1993 regarding Election Authorization Bylaw, 1993, No. 2831. Moved by Councillor Keryluk: Seconded by Councillor Talbot: That the City Clerk be appointed Chief Election Officer for the 1993 Election. That the City Administrator be appointed Deputy Elections Officer for the 1993 Election. That the Chief Election Officer be authorized to establish additional general voting opportunities for general voting day. That a mobile poll be established at the places and during the times specified by the "Mobile Poll Establishment Bylaw, 1975, No. 1396; namely, at some convenient locaticn at the Senior Citizen’s housing facility known as “Dogwood Manor" located at 3155 Seymour Street, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and at some convenient location at Hawthome Lodge, 2111 Hawthorne Avenue, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 20th, 1993.
