Industrial Development Since 1987, over 900,000 sq.ft. of industrial floorspace has been added in Port Coquitlam, -~ a 51.4% increase in only three years. There are three main industrial areas in the City: the Mary Hill Industrial Estate, Davies Industrial Park, and Meridian Industrial Park (see Figure No. 2). With these areas nearing full capacity, and a continued demand for industrial land, development of the Dominion Triangle must now be considered to enhance the tax base of the city and provide additional employment opportunities to Port Coquitlam residents.
