Council has requested that this Resolution be placed before your Counci] and that they be requested to endorse the position taken by the City of Port Moody at its Counci} Meeting held December 9, 1985. It is hoped that the Support from our neighbouring Municipalities will present a united position of protest against the intended increase of usage by B.C. Hydro of the Burrard Thermal Generating Plant and resul ting emissions, which may adversely affect the ambient air quality in the entire region. - We would encourage you to lodge your own appeal against the issuance of this permit to B.C.
