. or THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM 3 of the curve and at the curve. Part of the problem is that the curve is not banked in the right direction. The Committee considered the possibility of banking the curve by raising the outside edge adjacent to the driveways. This would improve the corner somewhat but would probably not prevent the type of accident where one car coming down the hill crosses the centre line and hits another car coming up the hill. Since there would be some cost involved, the Committee recommends that this item be considered in conjunction with the discussion of the 1980 budget and that in the meantime nothing further be done. ITEM IV Re: Ice and Snow Removal The Committee considered a report which had previously been distributed to members of Council dealing with schedules for ice and snow removal in the City. The proposal is to follow the Same system as was used last year. The Committee recommends that this report be accepted. ITEM V Re: Christmas Eve Parking at Lady of Assumption Church . Father Vermuelen has requested that he again be allowed to cover the 'No Parking' signs on Shaughnessy Street in front of the church ‘to allow extra parking for Christmas Eve Mass. He would cover the signs about 5:00 p.m. Monday night and remove. . the covers at 2:00 a.m. Christmas Day. He will supply the sacks as he has in previous years.
