UNFINISHED BUSINESS: From the City Engineer, September 28th, 1977, advising that the subdivision Approving Officer covered by file No. S#32/76 needed approval of frontages as they are Sept. 28/77 re frontage slightly less than that which is required under the Subdivision Bylaw. exemption. Moved by Alderman Lalcing: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the Subdivision Plan of a Portion of Lot 19, Southeast Quarter Section 12, Township 39, Plan 11116.New Westminster District, prepared by Walter E. Frith, B.C.L.S. and sworn correct by him on September 14th, 1977, wherein Lots 443 to 450 are created and where-~in the remainder of Lot 19 is left with a frontage upon the highway of less than 1/10th of its perimeter, be approved; AND THAT the Plan of Subdivision afcresaid be exempted from the minimum frontage prescribed under Section 712 (1) of the Municipal Act and the "City of Port Coquitlam Subdivision of Land Bylaw, 1970, No. 992". Land Use Contr.- Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, the City Clerk 3rd reading advised of a memorandum from the Leisure Activities Committee, October 12th, 1977 recommending: 1. That a five foot chain link fence be erected south and east of the development. That the entrance to the park be via the east side of the development. That a public walkway be created south of the development through the public road allowance. Furthermore that this walkway be built adjacent to the chain link fence. The Committee foresees a passive/active park, in order to retain the present trees. Alderman Thompson asked for further information on the fence proposed and Alderman Ranger advised cost of fence will be the developer's responsibility.
