1. . This Cy-law may be cited as the "District of Coquitlam
Vehicular Prohibition By-law No. 72, 1972";

2. For the purposes of the By-law:
“Motor Vehicle” shall have the meaning assigned

to it by the "Motor Vehicle Act".
“Gross Vehicle Weioht" shall mean the wetght at

or upon which a motor vehicle is licenced, under

the “Department of Commercial Transport Act", or

the "Motor Vehicle Act", as the case may be.

“Engineering Supervisor” shall mean the Engineering

Supervisor of the District of Coquitlam, duly
appointed by the Muntcipal Council.

(2) No person shall drive, use, or operate any
vehicle having a gross vehicla weight of
ten thousand (10,000) pounds or greater, upon
Hestwood Street, PROVIDED HOWEVER: _
(4) that this restriction shall? not
apply to any such vehicle between
the hours of 6:00 A. M. and 10:00
P. H., on the days Monday to Friday
fnclustve, of each week;
that this restriction shall not
apply to any such vehicle between
the hours of 8:00 A. M. and :
5:00 P. M. on Saturdays,
No person shall drive, use or operate any
vehiclo having a gross vehicle weight of
ten thousand (10,000) pounds or greater
upon Westwood Street at any time on Sunday,
or upon any “Statutory Holiday" as defined in
the "Interpretation Act”, R. S. B, C., 1960, and

amendments thereto,
