June 11, 1990/140 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlan held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, June lith, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, Clty Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, Acting City Engineer D. Riecken, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Tayler, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip, and Director of Building Permits and Inspections J.D. Shardlow. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised that the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2504. to rezone 1. Section 801(4) of “Fort Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" is deleted and the following substituted: "(4) A front yard of not less than 7.5 m (24.5 ft) shall be provided except that this front yard may be reduced to not less than 6 m (19.7 ft) for one portion of the principal building, not exceeding 7 m (30 ft) in width nor one storey of 5 m (16.4 ft) or less in height." Section 802(4) of "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" is amended by deleting subsection (4) and substituting the following: "(4) A front yard of not less than 7.5 m (24.5 ft) shall be provided except that this front yard may be reduced to not less than 6 m (19.7 ft) for one portion of the principal building, not exceeding 7 m (30 ft) in width nor one storey of 5 m (16.4 ft) or less in height." All land in the City zoned RS~1 (Large Lot Residential) and RS-2 (Small Residential) is affected by the proposed amendments. No one was present to speak regarding the proposed amendment.
