AS supplementary informaticn, the Public Works Committee is currently
consicering the implementation of a three tour Dar<ing restriction on Hastings
street between the hours cf 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 Dm. from the Lougheed Highway
=O Kitchener. Once the necessary input has been obtained from the adjoining
residents, the Committee will forward a recommendation to Council. Also, at
the last Committee meeting the R.C.M.P. agreed to conduct more enforcement
against truck Grivers who illegally obstruct dastings north of the Lougheed
while off-loading vehicles. As requested Ey the residents, City crews will
also be painting a solid line along the center line of Hastings Street curing
its annual line painting operations later this year.
