Dear Mayor Traboulay:
Tt has been brought to my attention that the three year

term of Mr. Scott McLaren as a member of the Fraser River
Harbour Commission will expire on May 27, 1988.

As in the past, one Mayor from one of the municipalities
affected in the selection of a Commissioner will contact
the Mayor of each cf the remaining municipalities
submitting the name of an individual to be appointed as
Commissioner for their consideration.

Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to nominate Mr.
Scott McLaren for a further three year term as our
Commissioner to the Fraser River Harbour Commission and
submit his name to you for consideration and ratification
by your Council members.

Over the past years I have had the opportunity of working
with Scott in his capacity as Harbour Commission and have
found him to be very conscientious. He has represented
our community very well over the past years.

I am aware that you have probably had the opportunity. to
work with Scott, as have many of our colleagues, and are
familiar with his professional capabilities. However, in
the event that you or vour Council members wish to have
more detailed information, I have enclosed a copy of his
resume.
