Alderman Muldoon proceeded at this time to ree her report and make extensive comments regarding the spraying of Funginex. Moved by Alderman Muldoon: That the aerial spraying of Funginex be banned for a period of one week. Lost for want of a seconder. Mayor Traboulay introduced Mr. Bob Rompre Project Manager of the Energy Centre at 1915 Pitt River Road in Port Coquitlam. Mr. Rompre gave a brief outline of the project's objectives. At this time Mayor Traboulay appointed a Committee consisting of Aldermen Laking and Mabbett with the assistance of City staff members F.E. Peters, P.Eng., and W. Brown, to oversee the project on behalf of the City. BYLAWS: Moved by Alderman Vater: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That Bylaw No. 1884 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried. Aldermen Gates and Mabbett voted against the resolution. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That Bylaw No. 1887 be read a third time. Carried. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That third reading of Bylaw No. 1888 be rescinded; and THAT Section 4 be struck out and Section 5 renumbered as Section 4; AND THAT Bylaw No. 1888, as amended, be read a third time.
