THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM “COUNCIL -- ; OCT 10 1978 A By-law to authorize the construction of pavement - 28' width, storm sewer, and extruded concrete curb; all of a “Local Street" construction standard on a normal construction schedule; on Hamilton Street from the north boundary of Patricia Avenue to the south boundary of Lincoln Avenue, in the City of Port Coquitlam as a local improvement under the provisions of Part XVI of the “Municipal Act", as amended. WHEREAS on the Twenty~ninth day of August, 1978 the Council caused the required Notice of Intention to be advertised and mailed to the owners liable to be specially charged therefore; . AND WHEREAS the advertising and mailing of such Notices has been proved by Statutory Declaratis: of the City Clerk dated the Fourth day of October, 1978; AND WHEREAS a Petition against the construction of the work has not been received and the time limit provided therefore has now expired; AND WHEREAS the Council has had a report prepared pursuant to Section 601 of the said Municipal Act in which it has been concluded and recommended that: (a) the lifetime of the work will be Twenty (20) Years; “(b) the estimated cost of the work is $63,630.00; (c) the share of proportion of the cost which will be specially charged against the parcels benefiting from or abutting on the work is $13.75 per taxable front-foot in accordance with the provision of the "Local Improvement Charge By-law, 1969, No. 912", . AND WHEREAS the number of years for which the annual charge will be imposed is Ten (10), in accordance with the provision of the "Local Improvement Charge By-law, 1969, No. 912". . AND WHEREAS the Council has received approval of the Inspector of Municipalities pursuant to the provisions of Section 601 (5) of the "Municipal Act" to borrow up to the amount of TWO HUNDRED FORTY-THREE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY DOLLARS ($243,530.00) to Finance Local Improvement projects during the year 1978; , .
