December 16th, 1974 A regular mesting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on December loth, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, V.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, Parks Superintendent Won Kim, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. Mayor Prior to commencement of the meeting, His Worship the Mayor advised Campbell-re- consideration- that Alderman Ranger wished to reconsider the subject of PoCo House PoCo House under reports later in the meeting and to this the Council agreed. The City Administrator advised that a report had been received from the City Adm.- re report- City's Planning Consultant on the proposed Huntington Rubber rezoning, Huntington Rubber Rezon- and to the suggestion of His Worship the Mayor that this subject be ing considered at a forthcoming meeting, the Council generally agreed. Carried. DELEGATIONS: The City Clerk advised that Mr. W. Casson, Director of Housing, GVRD Housing reps. re Greater Vancouver Regional District, and other representatives were in Coast M.Road Housing Pro- attendance to discuss the Coast Meridian Road Housing Development project, ject and Mr. Casson then introduced Mr. R. Ian Birtweil of the G.V.R.D. Housing Department and Messrs. Bob Morton and Bill Rhoue, of Rhone & Tredale, Architects, to the meeting. Mr. Casson advised that the Housing Department was ready to start work on the project and wished to move into Lie Land Use Contract stage as quickly 1s possible. Mr. Birtwell advised his Department had worked with the City's staff in developing details on the site plan - in particular, with regard to width of roads, fire safety and access on internal streets and roads, provision for vehicles turning and backing up at the day care centre, and points on open space, and he then displayed a revised model of the project. Mr. Bill Rhone, in speaking to the project model, pointed out that it consists of six cluster housing units and an apartment block, and that they were
