Supreme Court Action No. A882627, Vancouver Registry Our File No. 19-S-167 This is to confirm that we attended in the British Columbia Supreme Court today for the hearing of the City’s application for judgement egainst Mrs. Osberg. At the conclusion of the hearing, Mr. Justice Callaghan granted the following injunction: "That the Defendant, Sylvia Osberg, is prohibited from attending at or interfering in any way with the regular meetings of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, until such time as Mayor Leonard Trabouay ceases to be Mayor of the City of Port Coquitlam." In giving judgement, Mr. Justice Callaghan advised Mrs. Osberg that whatever the merits of her apparent personal vencetta against Mayor Traboulay, the elected representatives of the City of Port Coquitlam are entitled to meec without interruptions and to conduct the City’s business without interruptions. Like the Provincial Legislature and Federal Parliament, the City Council has e right to maintain order during its meetings and to exclude anyone who intends to disrupt the meetings.
