Re: Preliminary Estimates on Local , AUG 14 1978
Improvement Projects

At it's meeting of May 29th, 1978 Council requested
preliminary reports; from the Engineer on three additional
local improvement projects with the possibility of having
these constructed 2s a winter works program. My preliminary
report is as follows. If Council gives the approval to pro-
ceed with these projects, we will carry on with a design and
detailed estimates for certification to Council.

1. St. Anne Street ~ Dorset to Lincoln

Construction of storm sewer, road, and

curb and boulevard

Preliminary Estimate - $115,800.00

Residents Share - $13.75 per front foot

Total Contribution - by property owners -
$43,615.00

City Share - $72,185.00.

2. Essex Avenue - Lane Fast of Cedar to
St. Thomas Street

Construction of storm sewer, road, curbs

and boulevards

Cost Estimate ~ $60,500.00

Residents Share - $13.75 per front foot

Total Contribution - by property owners -
$19,552.00

City Share - $40,948.00.

3. Newberry Street - Fraser to Prairie

Construction of storm sewer, road, curb

and boulevard

Total Estimated Cost - $40,000.00

Residents Share ~ $13.75 per taxable front foot

City Share - $20,937.00.
