Alderman Nabbete advised that the: report has been. received and is being discussed

by the Fire Committee prior to presentation. to Council.

Alderman Traboulay stated his understanding that another report ° ‘was to be

forthcoming concerning the ‘number’ of dwelling units anticipated to be constructed

in the City this year, and Alderman Ranger advised this would be teady for the

@ School District-Council meeting tomorrow evening.

The Board agreed to go in on a study of an emergency telephone number;

The Board entered inte a hospital parking study for the Royal Columbian and
ions Gate Hospitals on a 60-40 cost-sharing formula.

Mayor Campbeil stated he voted against the G. V. R, dD. being the sole body in

all transit changes, and that in his view the brief that is toa be presented by

the Canadian Federation of Mayors & Muntetpalities to the Cabinet appears to be_

very wishy-washy and a total waste of tinie. :
