(Low-Density Apartment Residential), . and RM-2-(Medium-Density Apartment Residential) ZONES and the Uses of "Group Day Care" and "Pre School" in the RM-1 (Low-Density Apartment Residential) and RM-2 (Medium-Density Apartment Residential) ZONES only. 5. Section 502 of the By-law. is amended by adding the following thereto as subsection (8): (8) A FAMILY DAY CARE USE, OUT OF SCHOOL DAY CARE USK, OR CHILD MINDING USE (a) in the RS-1 and RS-2 ZONES shall not be permitted where it is proposed to give.care to more than five children; (b) in the RM-1 and RM-2 ZONES shall not be permitted where it is proposed to give care to more than five children nor except in a suite or dweiling unit that is on a ground floor location or has. direct access and egress to the exterior of the building." 6. Section 502 is further amended by adding the following thereto as subsection (9): "(9) A GROUP DAY GARE USE.OR PRE SCHOOL USE shall be permitted only in apart- ment facilities designed or adapted for such uses and intended to serve residents of the subject building or persons residing in immediately adjacent RM.ZUNES or apartment facilities." Section 601 of the By-law is amended by adding to the table of Permitted Uses of Land, Buildings, and Structures in the Commercial Zone as shown therein the Uses of "Family Day Care", "Group Day Care", "Qut of School Day Care", "Pre School" and "Child Minding" to be permitted in the C-2 (Neighbourhood Commercial), C-3 (Flint Avenue Commercial), C-4 (Town Sub-Centre Commercial), and CS-1 (Service Commercial) ZONES only. 8. Section 602 of the By-law is amended by. adding the following as subsection (9): "(9) CHILD MINDING, FAMILY DAY CARE, GROUP DAY CARE, OUT OF SCHOOL DAY CARE AND PRE SCHOOL.USES shall only be permitted: (a) on the first storey except that a GROUP. DAY CARE USE or PRE SCHOOL USE in apartment facilities designed or adapted for such uses and intended to serve residents: of the subject building or persons residing in immediately adjacent RM or apartment facilities may be lecated on any storey thereof. (b) notwithstanding clause (a) of this subsection where no apartment residential use exists on the parcel A CHILD MINDING USE may be established on any storey thereof,"
