CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM PARKS I( RECREATION COMMITTEE A meeting of the Parks 6 Recreation was held in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, April committee 16th, 1986 at 3 145 p.m. In attendance were Alderman George Laking and Alderman Mike Farnworth. Also in attendance was K. Janna Taylor, parks a Recreation Director. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES That the minutes of the meeting of the Parks 6 Recreation Committee held on Wednesday, April 9th, 1986, be taken as read and adopted. Item No. 1 Hvde Creek Feasibilitv Stud~ in attendance and discussed various aspects of the study. Went over the various program requirements and space requirements. Indicated that the first phase would be due to the fact that the entrance had to expensive relocated, an elevator had to be installedbe and the roof fixed. Ken wil.l come to the May 14th, 1986, meeting to go over the plan. It was agreed that Council members would be invited to the meeting to view the presentation. The public information meeting will be held on June 11th at 7 100 p.m. in Hyde Creek Centre. Ken Weber was Recommendation That the verbal presentation by Ken Wieber be received. It was recommended that the City include in the Highway Use Permit that the develoner is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the boulevard and the sign for one year after the works and services have been fully completed. i ill ll I i ill l /2. CARRI ED Reeve Street Park Plan It is necessary for Council to adopt the conceptual plan in principle, so that the provincial government can complete the transfer of crown land to Port Coquitlam.
