Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM the week of September 12th to 18th, 1994 as “TERRY FOX WEEE” in the City of Port Coquitlam and urge all residents to participate and give generously to the ‘Terry Fox Foundation to fulfill Terry’s dream to find a cure to beat cancer. His Worship, Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Ms. Diana Laustrup, Secretary, PoCo Garden Club, who gave a brief description of the PoCo Garden Club, and its contribution towards beautifying Port Coquitlam. Whereas, one of the favourite leisure-time activities of the residents of Port Coquitlam is gardening; Whereas, Port Coquitlam residents recognize the importance of the horticultural sector to our economy; Whereas, The City of Port Coquitlam is particularly pleased to see that residents are working for a greener environment, And whereas, The City of Port Coquitlam and the PoCo Garden Club encourage all citizens, businesses, industries, civic groups, service clubs and schools to lend their support in a campaign of gardening to beautify our community; Now therefore, I, Leonard M.
