Re: _ Riverwood Subdivision Area

We have acquired sufficient land in the Riverwood area for a secondary school
where the original elementary school had been shown in the community plan.
As a result, we only need approximately five acres. We do not need the larger
block of land shown in the community plan that had originally been zoned for a
secondary school.

The five acres we need for an elementary school is based on the premise that the
adjoining perkland will be developed by the city for an active playfield area.

I am hopeful that the community plan can be amended accordingly, so that the
owners may proceed with whatever planning they need to do, “
