THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT coourtufss BYLAW NO. 2533 A Bylaw to amend the “Development Procedures Bylaw, 1987, No. 2243". The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in Open meeting-assembled, enacts as follows: i. The “Development Procedures Bylaw, 1987, No. 2243" is amended by renumbering “Division 5 - Repeal ane Title" as "Division 6 - Repeal and Title” and by renumbering Sections 13 and 14 as Sections 23 and 24 respectively. The Bylaw is further amended by adding the following as Division 5: “Division 5 — Licenced Premises This Division applies to all liquor licence applications referred to Council pursuant to a direction by the general manager under Section 5(3) of the Liauor Control and Licencing Regulations. An application for a Council resolution stating whether or not the Council considers that the residents are in favour of granting the proposed licence shall be made to the Director of Community Planning on the application form attached as Schedule "D" to this Bylaw and shall include the supporting information specified in the application form. ; . Every application made under this Division shall be accompanied by: - (a) A non-refundable fee of $400.00, ania, (b) A fee of $850.00 which shall be refundable if notice of a Public Hearing is not advertised or mailed. Where an application has been made in conformance with Section 15 of this bylaw and the required fees have been paid: (a) the Director of Community Planning shall have a report prepared advising Council of the merits of the application; (b) the City Clerk shall have the report from the Director of Community Planning placed on an agenda of a meeting of Council. . a (c) the applicant shall be provided with a copy of the report a and shall be given notice of the time and place of the. Council Meeting. Upon receipt of the report of the Director of Community Planning made pursuant to the provisions of this Division the Council nay; (a) instruct that a Public Hearing be held; or (b) instruct that further information be obtained; or (c) adopt a resolution confirming that in Council's opinion the residents are or are not in favour of granting the licence.
