Reconumendations

Te That the Kinsmen of Port Coquitlam be permitted to construct
a waterpark at Sum Valley Park in a similar manner as was
done with the construction of the Participark in Robert Hope
Parkeoa

26 That all design work must have pre-approval from the
appropriate City department.

Background & Comments: -

fhe Kinsmen would like to have the waterpark at Sun Valley

operational by July 1st, 1988. It is the hepe of the Kinsmen to

do it through various methods, one will be with their own

volunteer labour and the other is to contract part of the

construction out. The Kinsmen, as outlined in their letter,

must get approval from the Engineering and Building Departments
in regard to the design and construction so that all codes are |
net.
