ride, drive, lead, move or oropel any .a mal or vehicie over or across a boulevard, dnelu ng any curb, sidewalk or ditecn-unless such has been constructed or improved to form a suitable crossing in ‘conformity with the provisions of this By-law. ni di construct a boulevard crossing, ineluding. a curb, ditch or sidewatk crossing; ; : construct and maintain a boulevard on any highway; plant any shade or ornamental trees, shrubs, or bushes upon a highway. . t CONDITIONS OF ENGINEER'S PERMISSION The Engineer may issue a permit in the. form prescribed in Schedule "A" of this By~law, to do any or all of those things otherwise prohibited by Section 3 of this By-law, subject to the payment of an application fee of $5.00 with each application therefor and subject to such.other conditions contained .in.this Section as may be applicable to each such application. 7 As a prerequisite to the issuance of a permit under This section, the app!ticant shall: (a) deposit with the City, a sum of money, bond, or Letter of Credit acceptable to. the City sufficient'to pay tor the cost of repairing any “damage tikely to be done to the highway and.as sufficient security that the obligations imposed by the permit shall be fulfilled within the time specified by such. permit; and the amount of each such deposit shall be not less than the cost of repairing’ such damage as estimated by the Engineer and with respect to permits for the crossing of boulevards and the construction of boulevard crossings shal! not be less than $500.00 for each such permit; provide satisfactory plans of the work to be ‘undertaken and when such are supolied and approved by the Engineer and the necessary oermit ‘tssued the work shal! conform ‘én every way to the approved plans and to the specifications contained in the City of Port Coquittam Subdiviston By-taw.
