CORRESPONDENCE & PETITIONS: From the Coquitlam & District Hospital Society, November 12th, 1973, advising that at its November 8th, 1973 Board Meeting, it was agreed that letters b2 sent to the three Mayors and Councils expressing concern that the Port Coquitlam Gity Council is Yequesting a joint meeting with other Councils and the Minister of Health without first consulting the Board of the Coquitlam & District Hospital Society; further, that the Board wishes to express a will- ingness to meet with any or all respective Councils at any time to clarify issues relating to the planning and construction of the Coquitlam & District Hospital, and advising that the next regular meeting of the Board will be held at Valleyview Hospital, Thursday, December 13th, 1973, at. 7:30 p.m. Alderman Meyer stated he was pleased to see the Hospital Board is now indicating a willingness to meet and discuss problems with the Councils, and. that he thought it fair to say the Councils have not as yet been involved wth the proposed staging of the Coquitlam & District Hospital in a meaningful way. Alderman Meyer further commented that there has been a lack of communication between the City's representative and the Council with respect to procedures. and progress of the Coquitlam Hospital Board.
