severnl blocks after the car refused -to
go further. «So Intense. was the cold
that it-was very. difficult to get the
heat of the church up to 4 comfortable
point The superintendent of the hent-
ing system was also somewhat late in
gatting started. -Thus it required @ lot
of couruge and faith for the chorustera

when the. temperature was at the low-
est. ‘The entire service was a great
suecess and was much enjoyed. by ‘the
congregation, In the evening the same

By means of this theory. it. was prre-
ceived that. the Casstar-Omineea bath-
olith was far more extensive than wi
originally supposed, and although the
suoth-eastern portion of this batholith
appears to be largely concealed, its un-
derlying presence ‘is rendered evident
at several points in the eastern portion
of the Cariboo Mining Division.

The Central batholith bas been pro-
ven tu extend from. the. north-west arm
of Takla Lake to the south-eastern ex-
termity of the Quesnel Minjng Divisiou.

noteworthy because of the fact that it
has originated quartz veins for an im-
mense distnnce—certainly from the
headwaters of the Horsefly river to
the point where the Fraser river cross-
