A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
9580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 25th, 1991,
at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor LL.M. Traboulay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, MJ. Gordon,
J.J. Keryluk, RoHe Talbot, M.A. Thompson and MR. Wright were in attendance.

Also in attendance were city Administrator BR. Kirk, Acting City Clerk S.
Rauh, City Treasurer J. Maitland, City Engineer I. zahynacz, Director of

Planning C.R. Felip, Director of Building Permits and Inspections J. Shardlow
and Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley.

At 7:40 p.m. Fire Chief J. Baillie took a seat in Council Chambers.

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS =

wigs Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced former MLA Mark Rose and his
wife Isabelie. In appreciation for the many years of services provided and
particularly bis service to the City of Port Coquitlam the Mayor presented Mr.
Rose with a key to the City.

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on
November 18th, 1991 be taken as read and adopted.

DELEGATIONS; .

Wis Worship L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Bill McKinnon of Block. Brothers
Realty who gave @ prief description of the proposal by CREA which would allow
first time home buyers to use their RRSP contributions as a down payment.

Moved by Alderman Gordon:
Seconded by Alderman Talbot:

That a letter of support for the proposal by the Canadian Real Estate
Association, which would ailow first time home buyers to use their RRSP
contributions as 4 down payment be sent to the Minister of Finance, the
Honourable Don Mazankowski, with a copy to be sent to Federation of Canadian

Municipalities.
