SUBJECT: Citizen Complaints in the Vicinity of Wilson
Avenue, Mary Hil! Road and McAllister Avenue.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Municipal Councl!:
1. requsst increased R.C.M.P. patrol of the area.

2. request the R.C.M.P. to institute a Nelghbourhood Watch
Program.

request the R.C.M.P. to target the area for the Vandal
Watch Program.

AND THAT the matter be reviewed at the end of six months to

ascertain If further action is appropriate.

BACKGROUND:

At the regular meeting of +he Municipal Council held on Monday,
June 1Jith, 1984 Mayor Traboulay requested that | meet with the
cltizens of the area to discuss complaints In the vicinity of
wilson Avenue, Mary HII! Road and McAllister Avenue. On
Wednesday, June 20th, 1984 | met with approximately 15 people
and reviewed the situation. Atter much discussion the above

recommendations are presented for your consideration.
