NOW. THEREFORE THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSES that in consideration
of the premises and in consideration of the payments, promises, terms
and conditions hereinafter set. out the parties hereto agree as.
follows:

1. (a) The GVRD shall during the term hereof provide to ‘the
- Corporation those services and at the cost to the Corporation.
set out in Schedule "A" hereto as amended or replaced from

time to time pursuant to Paragraph 2.

The cost to. the Corporation for. the services. set out in
Schedule "A". “hereto ‘for the calendar year. 1984 ‘shall be
$15,176.

The cost to the Corporation set out.in Schedule "A" hereto as
amended from time to time for all years during the term of
this agreement subsequent to the calendar year 1984 shall be
an amount equal to the same proportionate part of the total
Cost as set out in Schedule "A" hereto. of all the services
provided by the GVRD to all those cities, municipalities or
other eligible municipal entities entering into agreements
‘with the GVRD ‘similar to this agreement for the services set -
_ out in Schedule “A" hereto: (hereinafter ‘sométimes called ‘the:
"Participating Municipalities" © or — "Participating
Municipality” if inthe singular) .as the Corporation's net
taxable value of land and improvements for regional hospital
district tax. purposes -(as certified by the assessment
commissioner) for the year prior to the year in which such
costs will: be incurred bears to the total net. taxable value
cf land and improvements for regional hospital district
purposes of all the Participating Municipalities.
