Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most common 1i HAY 2- 18
threatening diseases of children in Canada and

there is no known cure or complete control for
Cystic Fibrosis, and

one in every 1800 chiléren born in Cenada has

Cystic Fibrosis, and

the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is
supporting research to find a cure or control and
improved care for children with Cystic Fibrosis and,
the month of May has been designated as CF month

in the city of Port Coquitlam, to enlist public

support and increase public awareness in the fight

‘against Cystic Fibrosis,

BE If THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT I_Jackt Camodult of

Port Coquitlam in British Columbia, do hereby
proclaim MAY as Cystic Fibrosis Month and urge
the citizens of our Community to join with the
Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in its

humanitarian task.
