~Conference chairman is Dr. Robert Collier, formerly Professor
of Regional Planning, U.B.C., now community planner, City of
West Vancouver.

~Opening Remarks by Mayor Gilbert Biair, Richmond

RESIDENTIAL LAND USE, 7:30 p.m.

~Keynote speaker will be Charles Warren Callister of Callister,
Payne and Bischop of Tiburon California and Amherst,Massachusetts.
A noted architect, Mr. Callister has gained prominence for award-
winning work in design and community planning and has lectured

at many universities, including Stanford and U.B.C.

Mr. Callister will be joined in a question/discussion period by
Dr. Ann McAfee, City of Vancouver Planning Department and William
Casson, Housing Director, G.V.R.D.

COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL LAND USE, Saturday, 9:00 a.m.

-Gerrard Farry, Director of Planning, G.V.R.D., will present the
Town Centre Report and be joined by panelists Ron Schuss,

Dorset Realty Group and Jim Allen, Chairman Commercial and
Industrial sub-committee, A.P.C.

-Allan Gjernes, Development Manager -of Dominion Construction will
speak on "Industry for Richmond" and be joined by panelists
Graeme Stamp, Dévelopment Coordinator Ven-Dev Enterprises, Ltd.,
and Peter Watkinson, Chairman Regional sub-committee, A.P.C.

LUNCH

RECREATION LAND USE, 1:00 p.m.

-Panelists will explore the future needs of Richmond residents
for internal and schoolground parks and open space. The future
use of Richmond's natural perimeter will be discussed.
