The committee is basically in agreement that there should be some charge for the events. trade fair must be finished by August 1988, in order for the ice to be ready 4'r 23rd, the lri I various activities in September it is necessary that the ice be put in as of August 23rd. CARRIED Item N~o. Everareen Park The Parks A Recreation Director indicated to the committee that Mayor Len Trabouly had indicated to her that the proposed public meeting for the park should come under his jurisdiction. It was reported to the committee that all the letters and envelopes are ready for mailing. Alderman George Laking will contaot the Mayor and report back to the Direct, or with what is to be done. Recommendation: That Alderman Laking will contact Mayor Len Traboulay f'r action on this item. CARRIED Item No. 4 Proposed Teen Dance/Concert The attached report from the Recreation Manager was reviewed and discussed by the Parks g Recreation Committee. Generally speaking the committee was in i'avour oi'he recommendations. However, i.t was agreed that rather than the one to 75 ratio for adults that this be ohanged to one to 50 Recommendation: That the recommendations outlined in the Reoreation Manager s report, exoept for the one to 50 ratio, be adopted. ~ CARRIED ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at, G.R.
