REUNION
10-year
grads kick
lip their
heels

CAL GRADS of 10 years ago
came together from as far away
as California, Newfoundland and
Idaho for a giant reunion on
Riverboat Days weekend.

Organizer Joe Barbosa said
about 110 Caledonia . Sr.
Secondary School grads from
1984 returned for the event.

“We ran about a 50 per cent
Tetum rate, which is pretty
good,’’ he said.

The weekend started with a
wine and cheese social Friday
night at the Thornhill Community
Grounds, and even attracted some
of their teachers of 10 years ago.

Saturday night featured a dinner
dance and awards night. .

The group got together for a
family day at-the Lakelse Lake
Picnic Site on Sunday.

Toni Beaulac from Vancouver
delivered a speech as Guest
Valedictorian.
