They can really make or break an outfit. by Elizabeth Evans Terrace Fashion Columnist Scarves are great for ‘“‘tying up”’ an outfit. Perhaps a cowboy bandanna to top off a casual outfit of blue .jeans and your favorite shirt. For the office? How about a multicolored printed scarf to blend in your blouse with your suit. Scarves are available in many different colors — prints, patterns, solids, checks and polkadots. They are available at most clothing stores or department stores. Here is something to keep in mind — if you are searching for a scarf in a particular shade and not having any luck, why not make your own? It is easy enough to do. Just pick up a piece of material from the fabric store and stitch up one of your own, of any length or shade. Scarves can be tied, pinned, twisted or folded. Use your creativity in order to achieve your own look. Scarves are great for adding a contrast to an outfit. Try adding a bright yellow scarf with a green suit! As well, they can be worn almost anywhere — around your neck, waist, or for an exotic look in a twist: around you head. Don’t stop accessorizing with scarves. Enhance your outfits by adding other ac- cessories like jewelry, belts, nylons or even gloves, for a dressier look. The project is a joint effort featuring places to see, things to do and par- ticipate in for residents of and visitors to the northwest communities. The reason for this brochure, said Greno, is that both municipalities have so many natural at- tractions and features, we decided to catalogue them to promote this area, These brochures will be distributed in motels, hotels. and residences, as of July ‘86. stationed in Smithers.
